Leona DeBolt, a regional emerging artist and member of  the Outpost  Studios ARI, who finds her creative sanctuary amidst the serene landscapes of Northern Rivers, NSW, Bundjalung country.

 

A graduate of Southern Cross University focused on printmaking, Leona has transitioned seamlessly into the realm of painting. Her recent works take form through acrylic on canvas, created with humble, well-worn brushes then layered with pigment & charcoal, resulting in intricate textures and depth.

 

Leona's artistic process is in surrender of her intuition, where each canvas is transformed into a playground of expression. Her work radiates joy and curiosity, and is coupled beautifully with a vibrant, bold palette.
